The Forward Foundation
The Forward Horizon

College List: Develop a personalized college list based on academic goals, campus culture, location preferences, and financial considerations.
Application Strategy & Review: Assist with application planning, setting up Common App account, and tracking deadlines. Thorough review of application materials to ensure completeness and quality before submission (up to 8 universities).
Essay Support: Lead students through the brainstorming, writing, and refining process for their personal statement and supplemental essays (up to 8 universities).
Recommendation Letters: Provide guidance on selecting recommenders and ensuring that strong, supportive letters are written.
Interview Preparation: Conduct mock interviews and coaching to help students present themselves confidently.
Financial Aid & Scholarships: Provide general guidance with the financial aid process (FAFSA and CSS Profile) and offer strategies for finding scholarships.
Decision Support: Assist students in comparing college offers, navigating waitlists, and making the final college decision.
Additional Support: Involvement behind the scenes (reviewing essays and application drafts, providing feedback, etc.) to ensure all application materials reflect the student’s strengths and aspirations.
Best suited for upperclassmen. Services span across 11th and 12th grade.
The Forward Sprint

Designed for Seniors who need guidance in a condensed time frame. Services include those from The Forward Horizon package, but are delivered in an accelerated format to ensure students meet every deadline. This service keeps students organized, on track, and fully prepared for the college admissions process.

Consultation: 5 one hour sessions to work through every stage of your essay process, including: brainstorming and topic development, essay structure, voice and authenticity, and final review. These sessions can be used for personal statement or supplemental essays.
Additional Support: Involvement behind the scenes to review and provide detailed feedback, ensuring overall quality.
